Obligation to report absence from work due to temporary disability (TI).
Even though from April 1, 2023, the worker who takes sick leave due to TI does not have the obligation to send the sick leave report to the company, he/she must communicate to the company the reason why he/she does not come to work that day. We send you a model of communication to send if you want by email or in writing to your workers.
Model of communication from the company to the workers (email or written):
We hereby inform you that you must communicate to the company, as soon as possible, the reason for your absence from work when you are on sick leave due to temporary disability, although from April 1, 2023, it will no longer be mandatory to deliver the sick leave report.
Failure to comply with this obligation to inform the company of the reason for your absence from work will be considered a misdemeanor and may result in a penalty.
