The year 2025 will include 13 working holidays in Catalonia, to which the local councils will add two local holidays.
They will be working holidays in Catalonia during the year 2025:
- January 1 (Wednesday) New Year’s Eve.
- January 6 (Monday) Epiphany.
- April 18 (Friday) Good Friday.
- April 21 (Monday) Easter.
- May 1 (Thursday) Labor Day.
- June 24 (Tuesday) Saint John.
- August 15 (Friday) The Assumption.
- September 11 (Thursday) National Day of Catalonia.
- November 1 (Saturday) All Saints Day.
- December 6 (Saturday) Constitution Day.
- December 8 (Monday) Immaculate Conception.
- December 25 (Thursday) Christmas Day.
- December 26 (Friday) St. Stephen’s Day
The thirteen holidays are paid and non-recoverable.
Each city council will also include 2 more local holidays. The local holidays of the city of Barcelona for the year 2025 are:
- June 9
- September 24th
